Blower motor quits when running excessively
Hello all,
I have a 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 liter. I've been running my ac alot lately and recently it just stopped, the blower that is. When that happened my radio quit my wipers quit, blinkers quit. I was told that it was the ignition switch located on my steering column. I went to replace the switch and noticed that one of the connectors was melted a little, i went ahead and put that same connector on the new switch and things worked fine for a while, Now i have the same problem, i don't have the blower working, radio, blinkers, wipers. It seems to come back on after a cool down,. but what could be causing the connector to melt. I want to find the root of the problem. Today my jeep just won't start at all. battery is fine ,starter is fine,. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Re: Blower motor quits when running excessively
Have you checked the power distribution center and fuses related to this?

Thanks for replying, no i haven't checked those areas, i'm not really sure what i'm looking at. And I also don't have a manual for my jeep. It didn't come with one when I bought it. If you or somone could give me some tips on what voltages to check at certain points that would be a great help, or any other ways to check the power distribution center and fuses. Thanks Scott. |
