I need new rims and tires for my vr-4. I'm looking to keep the stock size (17x8.5), but im not finding any 17s that wide. I was looking to go with black or gunmetal wheels with a silver lip. I would consider going to 18s, but the prices seem to jump up substantially for 18" wheels and tires.
Anyone know of any brands that make such a wheel? Thanks guys |

Re: Having trouble finding wheels...
I have 17x8.5 on my stealth r/t. I bought them from pepboys for $580. American Racing makes the ones I have, they're not black/gunmetal/chrome though. Go to pepboys.com and search for wheels, you can get a visual on any of the wheels they sell and it tells you if they will fit or not too.

Re: Having trouble finding wheels...
The main issue you will run into is caliper clearance. Many wheels simply wont clear our vr4 brake caliphers. If you head over to www.3si.org/forum there is a section devoted wholely to wheels and tires that fit our cars.
