Question staling and battery light

hello guys here is my problem. I have a 2000 windstar and yesterday it started acting funny, when i start it it stalls and the battery light blinks on and off, and it sounds like it's not getting gas. It hesitate while accelaritation it gets going, but when you stop it wants to stall again. Could this be bad gas or is the battery involve? Got it home and this morning tried to start it and it stalled again. Tried it again and something kicked on and the engine reved high for maybe half a min and it idled back down to normal. Battery light still blinks on and off. Does anybody know what's going on? What do i do ? any info. would be great. thank you

Test the battery, go from there.

Re: staling and battery light

My guess is . . .

Vaccum leak. If you can get it started again, listen for a whistling sound.

Rubber hoses going to the DFPE sensor are shot.
