tried to reprogram 2nd key & now vehicle won't start

Hi-

I need help. I tried to reprogram a second PK3 key on a 2002 Montana. I'm a moron & didn't think that the key was not cut yet, so it did not reprogram & now the vehicle won't start. All power works, but cannot start vehicle. Please help.

Thanks.

Well, when you say it wont start, do you mean with the only the second key, or the first key as well?

If it wont start with the first key, then I am sorry, I don't know whats wrong

but if it will start with the first, but not the second what you have to do is:

1. Start the car with the OLD key
2. Leave the car on for a few seconds
3. Turn car off
4. And as soon as possible after turning it off, start it again with the second key

That is how to program the key, well, at least it worked that way on my GP

I hope I helped a little
