transmittion problems

i ahve a 1986 camaro crate 350 1994 motor. trans is a 700. have a B&M mega shifter console . today when i was driving i stepped on the gass i accelerated then it seemed to rev high. took my foot off gas and it went back down. i put my foot on the gas and it did the same thing. it was like i was stuck in 1st gear/neutral because i could only go so fast. its an automatic trans but can punch threw gears then lock into drive. i tried going threw the gears and it didnt work it was like 2nd 3rd and drive were all neutral. reverse and park work fine.checked tran fluid its fine. any post are appreciated thanks!

Re: transmittion problems

So your reverse/park/first gear work fine? you just dont have any other forward gears?
it sounds to me like its time for a rebuild.. Stock 700's dont last forever behind a 350

may want a second opinion..
