Question Forza - Manual Transmission Problem

Hi guys,
Purchased my pre-owned copy of Forza Motorsports tonight for $26. I started a game but have a bit of a problem. I'll cut to the point, how do I use manual transmission in career mode? Before I race in time trial, free run, or arcade, it allows me choose. Why not in career racing? It doesn't give you an option anywhere I've looked, or when you first purchase your car.

What am I not seeing?

go into options, or settings, something like that i forgot where but its in some kind of options, turn off everything else as well you'll get more money for winning and its more fun with tcs off.

Haven't tried yet, but if I ever do my SN is "onoturtle"

This game is good fun! At first it was kinda weird playing right after PGR2, but now I like Forza better.

Re: Re: Forza - Manual Transmission Problem

How is Forza, compared to others like GT4. Like upgrades, aftermarket names(real or generic), drifting. I saw this video, http://videos.streetfire.net/Player....622C6&kw=6&p=0

It looks crazy good.

I like Forza a hell of a lot more than GT4. With the upgrades it's still performance packages like in GT4 but you also get cosmetic changes which is nice. I think some of the body kits are name brand but the performance upgrades and whatnot are generic. With the drifting I find it easier than in GT4 but I've never really messed around with the settings in GT4 for drifting.

Re: Forza - Manual Transmission Problem

there is something about forza that is better than gt4, i dont even play gt4 anymore, and will most likely not buy #5, the physics just dont feel right, and there is something abou the game that makes it tense, while forza is kinda laid back, even if your in the hardest race of the game.

Re: Forza - Manual Transmission Problem

Sweet. My friend has it but he moved 600 miles away so its kinda hard to get a feel for it over the phone, lol. Gonna pick it up tomorrow. I just started getting used to GT4 too, lol. And I had a 950 HP 300zx with 100 shot of Nitrous, and a drifting s14, and a sileighty. Ah ohwell, I can still play both, thanks guys.

Re: Forza - Manual Transmission Problem

Oh man I forgot...the best part IMO is the engine swaps. Sticking the Skyline engine in the Sylvia is just plain sweet.

ENGINE SWAPS! Forza motorsports is my hero! Can you(highly unlikely) change boost settings on forced induction systems?
