93 Grand Am 3.3L Electrical Problems HELP!

I have a 93 Grand Am SE 3.3l V6.
It will not start.

History,
I got the car from a friend, it would turn over but would not spark. I checked the voltage at the Ignition module and found that it was only getting 3 volts with the key in the run positiion and the dash light were very faint.

I hooked up a togle switch at the fuse box and fed the ignitino module 12 volts from there. BINGO the car started just fine as long as that switch was on.

I drove it to get inspected, tagged, and to the store. Parked it and the next day will not start again.

I changed the ingintion switch today and now the dash lights work and the ICM gets 12 volts but it still will not fire.

I took the ICM and the coil pack to autozone where they sad that they tested fine.

Could I have fried something by hooking up that bypass switch feeding the ICM 12 volts? Also now my speedometer is maxed out with or without the battery connected. Weird!

Any Suggestions?

Thanks!
Hank
