I don't know the exact code I had, but my check engine light came on twice over the period of three months, and it was definitely the Transmission Control system.
The first time was the switches, not communicating to the transmission to shift into overdrive. And the second time was that relay(s) had to be replaced.
My engine light came today, non-transmission related.
