If it is a 95 then I can help. The way I removed mine was I took the door pannel off (window up to reach motor) for the motor their are 3 rivets that you will have to remove and replace with something that is about 1/8 in depth to let the slides clear or new rivets would work to. Take a good look at the spring it gave me some $hit Other than that it wasent to bad. It was a wile ago so I dont rember move for move what i did but I do rember takeing a screwdriver and hammer to the rivits and grinding the head of the bolts on the pavement to make the slides move past the bolts and I renamed the spring #!^%&*!#@%*(& in case you need to call it by name when you are takeing it off. Good luck.

I have a 96 and my dad just replaced my motor for me too, I remember he screwed the gear to the plate thing to keep the tension for the spring, then removed the motor by removing the rivots and then puting the new one in and I was thinking that the new one came with screws to replace the rivots. Good luck!
