I need help figuring out where and how to buy a good JDM car. I've done quite a bit of research and have come to the conclusion that i'd either have to stumble accross one or have it imported direct for big buck. Im not lookin for a skyline gtr. Just somethin simple like a trueno or an s14. Can anyone point me in the direction of a place i could get a little more info????

Re: Jdm
i dont see why you would want one so badly when you could get the similiar counterpart in the US, but try ebay, then search the word jdm, or trueno, or silvia, or even rhd, or right hand drive, eventually in the next month someone will have sometihng.

Re: Re: Jdm
Well its not the fact that its rhd. Its the fact that j-spec cars have waaay better specs. When cars are produced for sale in the U.S. they are toned down quite a bit. Plus most the corollas made here are FWD and i need to find some RWD.

Re: Jdm
they did sell RWD corollas here as well, there just aren't many around anymore because not many economy cars survive for almost 20 years, they went to FWD in Japan the same year they went to FWD in the US.
If you want an S14, it would be way cheaper to just buy a 240SX and convert it than to try to import one.
