ecu question

my car: eclipse 95 gs

autozone webpage says
"On your 1995 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE, the ENGINE CONTROL COMPUTER is:
FRONT SEATING AREA, CENTER, UNDER DASH, REAR OF INSTRUMENT PANEL, MOUNTED IN BRACE"
that means i have to remove my Instrument cluster(speedometer,etc.) out to get to it right?? or what does that mean??
but isn't this my ECU in the picture?? the bottom one right? whats the top one called??

the top is to do something with it begin a auto i have both auto and 2 stick tranys and my sticks dose'nt have the top one but auto dose

and the bottom one is your ecu i dont think theres one inside the car though
