Re: help with cruise control

Stick or automatic?

Cruise should disable when the brake is pressed; perhaps, your switch is adjusted wrong and the cruise control thinks you have your foot on the brake pedal. This is the first thing you should check.

In the 90 FSM, there are 3 pages of diagnostics for checking each component of the cruise control. The fuse for the cruise control is shared with the seat belt buzzer so if you hear the buzzer, the fuse is good.
