ouuucchhhhhhhhhh !!!!!

hit a deer carcas around 10 pm thursday night doing around 65mph the wheels missed the carcas completly !!. the darn car went 2 feet up in the air off of the asphalt !!!

other than a lose muffler and (i beleave a bent break cover) everything seames fine but will put it up on a lift tomorrow to give it the complete safety check. even with high beams on, i had about 2 seconds to decide to swerve or hit the deer carcas ( which was big as hell) luckly no oncomming cars was approching .

so all fellow preluders be watchfull out there as the deer laying in the road can be just as dangerous as the deer running across the road !!

if you see a black 86 si 2.0 prelude that smells like burnt hamburger it will probally be mine :-(

be carefull on the road !! and enjoy your preludes !!!

Re: ouuucchhhhhhhhhh !!!!!

no damage other than muffler being broken loose and a few rubber exaust hangers torn. new exaust system was slated to be installed anyway. gonna have front end checked just to see if it was knocked out of alignment.

spent 2 hours washing all that darn deer hide and fuzz from underside and flex pipe :-(
