Engine noise
Does anyone here have or know anyone that has a clanking sound coming from engine every now and then, but mostly when accellerating. I put some oil treatment and it stopped for a while but every now and then I will hear it a little. What is that and other than scrapping the engine how can I get rid of it for good.

Re: Engine noise
Um, there are a TON of things in your engine bay that can make noise, so you are going to have to be a WHOLE lot more specific on the sound and where it's coming from, or nobody will be able to give you any help.
And scraping an engine just because of a noise is kind of a poor decision if you ask me. Are you noticing anything else besides the noise?

Sound seem to be coming from head. It not a knocking sound but more of a clapping sound. You cant hear it from outside unless the hood is up, but you can hear it when riding inside.
