Re: painting vinal dash
The orange glow lights might go alittle better though I dont know about painting dashes. I dont care for tan interiors much but to each their own. I just like black interiors as you can do more with them. Black goes with most colors, if not all.

Re: painting vinal dash
Clean it really good. get all grease dirt protectant off and then you will be able to spray it. and the vynal will be tacky for along time... but take your time and do it right lightly sand if needed after first coat. you will know if you need to sand. if the paint bubbles. Good luck my sig has pics of mine.

yeah me and my buddy did his car, just sand it, clean it with soapy water, let it dry, put a few coats of krylon fusion on it til it looks good and you get all the imperfections out, LET IT DRY BEFORE YOU PUT IT BACK IN THE CAR lol we rushed his door panels and put them back in before they dry and to this day they are still sticky, tape off everything you dont want painted, and last but not least put the pieces back in CAREFULLY. You can also paint your carpets, email me at [email protected], and ill let you know what kind of paint he used for that, i dont know off the top of my head but it looks fresh, ill try to get some pictures for you just drop me an email

Re: painting vinal dash
Youre better off getting it fiberglassed. I dyed mine with vinyl dye, biggest waste of time ever. The sun beats the shit out of it and it ends up peeling or chipping. Glass it and paint it with automotive basecoat and clearcoat.

Re: painting vinal dash
use a high-build primer and you wont have to sand as much.

Dont use any kind of spraypaint. Its gonna wear off due to the high traffic areas in a car. Plus it looks like a$$ If spraypaint were meant for cars theyd use it on the outside, dont ya think.
