Int coil to ext coil distributor swap.

Help. Did a GTiR swap into a P11. Using my original harness and internal coil distributor. Now this distributor is shot. I have the ext coil distributor, external coil and ignitor chip (trying to avoid buying new int coil one..have enough spareparts already!). Is it possible to swap in the ext coil distributor? If so , what are the corresponding wires?

The int coil has a 6 + 2 wire arrangement. So far it seems that the 2 wire plug is for the int coil. I need to identify the wires in the 6 wire plug. please help. Thanx
