inside dome lights

i bought my 1997 grand prix se 2months ago my dome lights will not come on all my dash lights stero lights all work fine checked all fuses and bulbs still not working can someone please help? i did not get keyless entry with it dont know if it even had one please help

get me the last 8 digits of your vin, and I can tell you if your car was factory equipped with keyless entry. As far as your dome lights, do they turn on whn you use the over-ride switch in the dash, or not at all?

here is my last 8 vf305521 and my dome lights never come on even when i use over-ride switch

your vin shows you have the remote trunk release, (button in the glove box) but no remote keyless entry (key fob transmitter). As far as your dome light problem, there is no separate chime module/auto dome module like on many older GM cars listed, so I would say it may be controlled through the BCM (body control module)
