Hazard lights

Hi i have a 02 Clio and it has just stared to flash intermittently. Sometimes it is when you open/lock using the key fob, sometimes its as your driving and sometimes its when it has been left?
has anyone got any ideas please.

have you had any luck sorting out your problem with your hazard lights coming on.
i am trying to sort out a friends 01 clio which does the same, the hazards can switch themselves on and off at will.
It may well be a problem with the multi-timer unit beside the fusebox relay assy.
I think the dealer wants about £650 to sort it out.
