Exclamation Mk4 wheels on Mk3 GTi?

Hi. Like the header says, will a set of Mk4 wheels go onto a Mk3 or will they scrape the sides of the car off? Tyre size is 225/45.
Any help would be very much appreceated.

Regards Paul
