Okay I happened to run over a parking block today. Yeah, yeah so I'm a woman driver, sue me!! lol. Anyway, after my little "accident" my a/c and all of my dash lights(including the blinkers) stopped working. My brake lights will come on while braking, but a few seconds later, at a stop, they will go off. Headlights, radio, and everything else runs fine. Had a diagnostic done at Auto Zone...ole Ruby gave a 74 error which, after the guy looked it up, is apparently something along the lines of a BOO switch failure; circuit open or circuit failure. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow, but I can't stand the anxiety of not knowing what this could mean and what I'll end up forking out. Are these "circuits" hard to get to for mechanics and something that will have to be replaced at a huge price. As you can tell I know NOTHING about cars, thats why I bring my problems to the extremely skilled and intelligent people of automotiveforums.com.
Any info will be greatly appreciated. She's an oldy, but a goody, and I just don't have the heart to decommision her yet!!

Thank you for the reply. I took it to the shop and he checked it out for me. He said he couldn't find any damage related to the impact with the block. However, he did find that my ignotion switch went out, which he said was strictly a coincidence. I guess it was going to go out anyway, which sucks because I had that replaced less than 2 years ago. It's only costing me $149 though, so I can't complain too much. Thanks again!!
