Radiator Fitting ?

When i take AC out and i undo the lines from the condenser to the radiator is there anything that i screw back into the radiator where the condenser lines plug in now?Or do i just leave it but i would think something goes in its place.

Ok on the radiator you have 2 lines from tranny that goto radiator.Then you have a line that goes from the condenser to the radiator correct?That line when you remove the radiator gets unplugged so AC condenser gets removed.Follow me?Ac condenser coming out.Now do i have to plug where the Condenser line goes into the radiator or just keep it un hooked when i put radiator back in

Radiator core removal can be done without touching a single thing in relation to your A/C. However, to grab out your condensor, the radiator has to move, and to make things easier, I would also remove the front grill. Nothing related to the A/C system passes through the radiator, but a pair of tubes come really close to the passenger side of the radiator, and makes it look like it's connected, but there is no hookup there at all. The tubes run straight around teh plastic side tank to the condensor core. When removed, cover the ends left dangling there with some "low tack" tape, like 3M 33+ (The green masking tape) - this keeps dust and moisture out for a little while, long enough for you to remove and re-install the core. When done, the adhesive qualities of the tape are that which allows for "clean removal" of the tape, no residue or sticky funk left over to clean up.

Wouldn't taking the radiator out be easier to remove the ac condenser?Lt told me togo with silicone which is good idea.Im deleting the ac so its not going back in

Yeah, the radiator core would have to come out before you touch the condensor. However, also removing the front grill will make it a bit easier, so you can get your hands around the front and top of the condensor without flattening the fins or crushing them upon extraction from the nose of the truck. I am all about getting functioning parts out in one piece because they can always be re-sold to someone that needs them. Now, are you plugging the A/C lines going to and returning from th condensor with silicone? Why not just completely remove them too, taping the ends for resale/reinstallation later? Don't go halfway, as they say - do it full-arsed.

Well here is my plan.
I bought an ac AC delete pulley off ebay for 20 bucks that goes in place of the compressor.So that is coming out then the condenser.Grille off no problem it has 4 star screws because of accident very little mounting brackets left.I was gonna yank radiator and fan shroud and then see where i was.I am also trying to locate a heater only assembly and heater only controls for it that way i can yank the box and controls and have more room under the hood.I know what your thinking on resale i was thinking about that as well because it works great and has the 134 so thats a plus.What i will do is when i get to it ill do a writeup like rlith with fancy pictures
