well guys i got it!!! an 01 silverado ecsb its an awesome truck black with chrome rims and offroad looking tires (new) the only thing is that its a 4.3 v6 and seems to have no center arm rests (feels strange compared to my old 91 caprice) and did not come with a new car book ill have to live with it till I upgrade or maybe make the most out of this engine I plan on mods later down the road when im done paying it off I just want to say thanks to all you guys on the silverado forum and hope you continue to provide plenty of insight and tech info on this cool truck

hope to get pics soon simon

Re: got it!!

Here's all I have right now. I plan to do some retakes later after I replace the wheels and get a tonneau...Maybe I'll do a reshoot this weekend.

Congrats and welcome to the club... Just to clarify do you mean 4.8 and not 4.3 L V6? I didn't think the Silvy's came with a 4.3 L. If so that was the same engine I had in my Blazer. Good engine, a real workhorse.
