Crap. Somebody worked on my windows

I bought a 2000 Malibu about 2 weeks ago for around 5300 from a dealership (bought from dealership because I thought it would have less problems). The car had some obvious problems, some being: star in winshield (repaired by dealership), Not-as-cool-as-it-should-be A/C (agreed to fix self to reduce cost), and some paint problems. We negotiated with the dealer to fix the last two ourselves to save on total price. After about a week, I found that the rear window on the driver's side did not roll down. Today, I removed the rear driver door panel to look for loose connections only to find taped connectors and wood where the window assembly should have been. Pics:

I kind of wanted to get that window working, even if it meant replacing the motor or switch, because this is a new car. What can I do? Maybe get a replacement from a junkyard?

That sucks.....I would definetely show that to the dealer and get a window regulator put in. I just replaced the same one in my vehicle this weekend. It cost me $50.00 at the scrap yard and took about 20 minutes to change.

Man that is a real crap job! Most stealeships have what they call "quality check list" where they check off items that were checked. Did they do that there? At the very least I would take it to them to check it out and try to make it right. The worst they could say is no, and that just puts you back where you are now, with a piece of wood you have to replace your self.
