69 Chevelle coolant noise through heater core
My friend has a 69 Chevelle completely restored even prior to any restoration she has always heard the flow of the coolant through the heater core. Any suggestions, if I remember right one of the nipples looks quite distorted on the heater core. Thanks In advance Jeff b.

Some of them are noisier than others. If they took down the box from under the dash, they might have left the insulation pad out of it. A restricted fitting at the firewall could cause a venturi effect as well, hence the noise. For a no-buck easy fix attempt, drain some coolant, remove the hose from the core and try to straighten out the tube, but go gently as they're only brass tubes soldered into the core. Use something like a wood dowel inside the tube.
