PLEASE HELP IF ANYONE KNOWS THIS ONE
I started up my prelude after leaving from work and i started to here a screeching noise and i swear its coming from the dirstributor cap and i put my hand on the cover and its virbrating pretty bad Does n e body know if this is the distributor making grinding noises becuase it dont sound like a belt its really loud please if n e one knows the info would be highly appreciated |

A while back the guy at the shop said that I had the same problem. I'm pretty sure it was a bearing in the distibutor housing. I think its just the housing itself.

just get a new dist. cap and rotor and see if that'll fix it...they're not that expensive, and quick to change...you can get 'em at autozone...

Ok i got it fixed yeah u was right, its the distrubutor
well i bought a new one with a lifetime warranty on it, im jus suprised becuase my prelude only has 90k miles on it but like my uncle said they go at n e time on these cars and thats the only draw back about preludes/integras
