1991 toyota camry dash removal
hey anyone who is willing to listen. i am trying to fix this problem with my bro's camry. the windows won't roll up and the power locks have stopped working. it souinds like a fuse to me but i have no idea where it is. i have heard it is 'hidden' behind the dash somewhere? but i am having trouble removing the damn thing. any suggestions?

Re: 1991 toyota camry dash removal
What year is the car? On some it's right on the bottom side of the steering column, under the wheel.

Re: 1991 toyota camry dash removal
The power locks, power windows, power seats and moonroof are all protected by a 30A (pink) fuse under the drivers dash.
You have to take off the plastic piece of dash underneath the steering wheel. You will see 3 gray boxes (type C fuses/relays) all labeled 30A. They are not what you change. What you want is right on the bottom side of the steering column, under the wheel. If that's not the problem then it's time for checking frayed wires. (Which by the way, may be why the fuse may have blown).
