transmission tailshaft endplay???
My 1990 chevy 1/2 ton has a heavy duty th 400 tranny.The tailshaft seal has been leaking.apon inspection,I noticed that the tailshaft accually is hanging so low that the yoke of the driveshaft is pulling down the seal and causing the seal to leak at the top of the seal.This is obviously caused by to much play in the tailshaft of the tranny.So my question is this:Is this just a matter of changing the bushing on the tailshaft that is mounted in the tailshaft housing?thanks in advance
