#2 misfire

I have been having misfires in #2 and have put in new plugs and new coil blocks. Any ideas on a possible cure. Thanks

Do you have a 2.4? Check all plugs, coil packs, and wires (assuming you have a 3.4). If it's not ignition related, then it's most likely fuel injected related. Try either running a bottle of some concentrated Lucas fuel injector cleaner; or have them professionally/purged (best bet).

Coilpack housings are a common problem also if your car is over 5yrs/100,00 km then its a good idea to change the wires. Did you notice if it was under load like when you step on the gas at like 1700 rpm Etc......Under load a spark leaks through housings, wires, or sparkplug insulators and is noticable just like your not getting enough gas it resembles or missing of course lol

Talking Re: Re: #2 misfire

Found out injector was plugged and others were close, must be bad gas.
