Question how to check Gaz pump

Hi,

i have a Plymouth Voyager 93, 3.3L.

When i put the key on ignition witout starting the motor, i don`t hear the sound of my gaz pump.

i would like to know how to check if the electricity is going to my gaz pump without taking off my tank.

thanks,
Patrick

under the left side under the van along the frame should be the wire loom that goes back to the gas tank for power and the gauge. just forward of the tank along the frame is a connection, unplug it and see if any of the contacts that come from the front have power to them with the key on.

Re: how to check Gaz pump

if your car starts, then you have no problem

if it doesn't, check the fuel rail for preasure, if there isn't any then do what waltham41 said in his post
