1997 ford escort (HELP)

where would i find the iac valve on a 1997 ford escort? and how would i clean it?? HELP!!!!

It is located right next to the throttle body. (I don't know how much you know so maybe I'm being stupid.) The throttle body is the first metal thing the intake goes into.The Idle air control looks like a round motor with 2 wires going into it. The end of it is black. Unplug the wires to it and pull the two 8 mm bolts. It is off. Don't throw away the gasket you'll need it. To clean I sprayed carburator cleaner into the 2 chambers and let it soak for a while. Don't put the whole thing in cleaner. After this I lubricated it again with 3 in 1 oil. Put it back on and it idled really well.
