Hey guys, i think i might have push the ride a little too hard tonight... i had to go to London from Toronto for an emergency, went and came back in 2 hours flat... what is usually done in 4, driving at around 160-170kmh
when i got there, i was hearing a weird noise coming from i dont know where, i cant seem to pinpoint it... it sounds like tin hitting on tin (vibrating)... and it happens @1500rpm and @3000rpm, any gear... anybody know what it could be? Thanks

if it is a noise like a flimsy piece of metal like I suspect it is, it's most likely a heat shield, and nothing to worry about, unless you park in tall grass. I dont have heat shields on my car anymore, they'd make noise, and I'd hose clamp them down, and eventually the only thing holding them on were the hose clamps, so i just took them off.

Any idea where it could come from? i cant pinpoint it...

Re: Weird anoying noise, need help!
check all your heat shields.... and yes it may only be able to be heard at certain RPMs...

They rattle when the engine viberates at a certain frequency, which happens to be at those rpm ranges.
