Talking 1st Tranny swap done!!

Well probably most of you don't remember but i blew my tranny awhile back and was looking for help doing it.. i gave up and bough a haynes book and went to town.. it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be but it wasn't easy to say the least.. everything went really smooth or as smooth as a 1st time tranny swap can go lol.. only had 1 real scare.. after i got everything put back in place got all cleaned up and started the car up went to put it in gear and nothing.. all 5 gears and reverse and she didn't move.. so im thinking wtf did i do wrong.. was it a bad tranny did i forget to put something back in place what happened.. well 1st of all it either wasn't a tranny from a eclipse or if it was it was a different year because none of the sensors on it would fit in the plugs and there is a thing on the clutch cylonid.. im not really sure what its called but its purpose is to engage and disengage the clutch.. u guys know what im talkin about lol .. any ways this 1 was to long and when i put it in it kept the cluth engaged at all times.. so to fix the problem .. i know this might sound ghetto but w/e it worked.. i was thinking this is just a peice of hardened steal right.. so i just got a bolt that was the same diamater and about 1 1/2" shorter.. rounded it off at both ends and poped it in place and boom everything is in working order!! to get the old tranny out and the new one in took a little over 8 hours.. i know that sounds like alot but when u never did major work on a car before its not too bad.. well just wanted to let you guys know everything went smoothly not that you care lol...
