painting door handle
Hey all I have a red 99' avenger. Door handles broke, got some new ones, but their not red! Though about just getting a spray can of touchup paint and spraying it on instead of having the dealer paint it. Thoughts? Would it work, look good? Also where can I get it at? Thanks!

Re: painting door handle
yeah, hitting it w/ some touch up paint, letting it sit for 24 hours, then wet sand it and add a clearcoat to make it look nice. You can do it yourself and save lots of $. First, make sure that before you put the touch up paint on, add the primer and let it sit for an hour before adding the touch-up then go from there.
