Talking PROUD NEW MC OWNER!!!!!............ slight problems though

Im proud to announce that I am a proud new owner of a 2000 Monte Calo SS! I got it for $12,000 with only 48,000 miles on it! All is well with it besides the fact that the passenger window didnt roll down so they're fixing it, but i forgot to mention the fact that when i activated the turn signals that they seemed fine at first, but then lost sync, it may tick 5 times simutaneously (if thats how u spell it lol) but the ligh only blinks once or twice.......... and vice versa, from outside though, the lights are fine, what can this problem be? im calling the dealer 2morrow to let them know and see if they can fix it b4 i pick it up, but if they dont i dont want to be out of alot of money for some electrical problem, i hope somethings under warranty! lol thanx in advance..........

Make sure the place you bought if from fixes everything....12000 is alot to buy a problem! Was the sale an AS IS, or did it come with a warrenty! I know above you said something about a warrenty but not sure it is was a drivetrain or over all!

Just make sure you don;t buy someone elses problem....Unless you are getting one hell of a deal!

Good luck

Re: PROUD NEW MC OWNER!!!!!............ slight problems though

I know in AZ that the dealer has to fix it as long as you take it back to them within 30 days or 300 miles. It's some kind of lemon law. I once bought a thunderbird "as is" and the torque converter went out a week after I took it home. The weren't real happy about it but they did fix it for free. I'm not sure what state you bought the car in, but it would definately be worth checking out if the dealership tries to give you a hard time about fixing it.

they shouldnt give me a hard time, the willingly fixed the window, but i got an overall warranty, but i gotta check on the cali lemon law. im not sweatin it too much, because on average the car should have around 70,000 miles on it and its 20 less, perfect condition inside and out, carfax was great and it drives perfect, and i didnt take it for some 5 minute test trive, i filled it up and was on the road for quite some time, but if it is somthing major trust me, it will be fixed BY THEM lol, but given the symptoms what do ya think it could possibly be?
