quest-02 dakota v6 vs 88 s-10 v6?

well, my friend has a 88 4wd 4.2 liter 5 speed manual v6 s-10, and my fathers truck is a 02 dodge dakota v6 2wd sport auto 3.7 liter. well, he is saying that his truck can beat mine in a race. is this right? or will i win? or will it be down to a drivers race? well, i have my permit so, i cant drive alone until about feb when i get my license. and he is just getting his permit in a few days so he has to wait for 3-6 months. plus with the new england winter coming up, we will have to wait anyway until late march, or even summer, depending on when he gets his license. so, any imediate reply's just to embarass his ass in school with some sad news from some true automotive persons will be over perfectly apreciated!

In all fairness, your dads truck should win... it's newer and lighter due to it being only 2WD and automatic. You kids being young, your friend probably doesn't know how to drive stick efficiently.

So the automatic helps you out.

Just race... don't worry about the outcome. Be safe.

actualy, with our school being a buch of redneck race car drivers, he knows how to drive a manual quite well. the rest of the stuff i can agree with ya though. so, overall my truck should win, right?! yah, will be safe to!

No one will Rly be a winner in this race. Save yourselves some gas and the embarrasment of running two 17 sec vehicles and just don't bother.

Hey man, a win's a win, doesnt matter if its by an inch or a mile. Or by a 17 second truck...

On a sidenote, i noticed you wont actually be racing for like an entire year. This means you can spend that time adding NAWZZ! Also be sure to race him for pinks, cause an S-10 is the American Lamborghini, a worthy souvenir.

nah thanks, not a ricer low life, no nitrous for me. unless it is a ofroading tank. redneck kid, so. plus it is my fathers truck so, the whole point is to sneak it past him that i am racing with it, just pretend that i am taking it out for a normal drive.
