Dim Headlights
I imagine that it is either a grounding issue, or something relay-related. On my pulsar (an 87 NX SE) I ran a wire between the ground contact of the two headlights and they now both operate normally 100% of the time. I don't know what the real fix is, but I found the quick and cheap one, which is good enough for me right now...

If your getting power to the lights but having issues that are solved with a better earth, I would say grounding issue.
Maybe clean the terminals? Are you using the factory rated bulbs?

Yeah...I've found a few ground leads on the engine block that don't seem to go anywhere, and I've pieced them back together as best I can. I'm looking into a bonafide grounding kit, might chase some of the gremlins away.
I am currently using GE factory replacement bulbs
