68 mustang runs 302/v8

The car is a '68 coupe, it's a original v-8 coupe and it's an "A" code car which means it came with the 4valve, 4barrel, v-8, not the 2valve, 2barrel. It was originally yellow with deluxe interior. It is now blue and the seats are aftermarket and the dash would need to be replaced. The door panels are original, black and in savable condition. it is a car worth restoring simply because it's an "A" code v-8 orginal coupe.

The body needs a passenger rear quarter and a passenger door skin, these got wrinkled when the car hit a wall while rolling. The impact was minimal but it did ruin the quarter. The door may be salvagable but I would replace it. The impact did not damage the floor pans or frame. The floor pans are original and are rust free. There isn't any visable rust under the car or in the body. It has the original door tag as well.

The motor has a weiland intake a holley Dp carb. long tube headers and some sort of aftermarket heads.

The trans is a c-4 and it has a hurst shifter in the car. Also, it has south side control arms in the back.

It looks like some one set this car up to move, but it has been sitting for a while. she needs some help but it is in decent shape and rust free. and it's a v-8 car!

4v means there's 2 intake and 2 exhaust valves in each cylinder helps the engine breathe a little better

Re: 68 mustang runs 302/v8

stanger42 i would hope if your a mustang man you would know no pushrod ford came with 4 valves per cylinder. there is a compony aftermarket that does make them for about 10k for a kit.

MrPbody he means he has a car that came with a 4bbl carb. if you look on old cars they tell you how many barrels on the carb ar by 2v or 4v and rarly in weird carbs 3v(have seen them).

KreatorZero shame on you you should know there are only 2valves per cylinder no mater what code engine it is. why couldn't you just say it has a 4-bbl card not a 2-bbl carb and not sound like a fucking moron, who makes all us other educated ford and mustang guys look dumb as hell.
