crx d16z6 swap distributor help

i put a d16z6 in my crx with the stock crx intake and distributor it loses power around 5000 rpms. what should i do?

First, welcome to the forum...

Second, do you have a dx, hf or si? It matters if you wired for mpfi or already were. You need an mpfi distributor from an Si. Did you wire up vtec?

i used si intake distributor and wiring harness

cut notches in the holes where it bolts up so you can bolt it up right.

or you could get thick L brackets made with holes drilled through the long part and it would latch down on the tab of the dizzy..if that makes any sense but its easier just to notch it.
