how wierd....
alright.... my A/C went out last month. i live in NM so you can imagine how much that sucks. i took it to the mitsu dealer and he told me it would be 1500 to fix, because i needed a new compressor. i decided to wait and see what happened. then today, i took my car to brake masters to get new brakes/rotors/cv joints. and when i get my car back, the A/C works better then ever!!! i searched the reciept... nothing. the tech never said anything except "thanks for your business"... i guess karma rolled around and i got lucky.

my guess that it had something to do with the a/c belt not being on real good and they might have discovered it being loose while putting in brake fluid. Has your battery voltage seemed kind of low up until this point?

actually, i got all new belts about 2 weeks age and my volts have been around 13
