76 Mustang 302 Wont Start
battery is good, new solenoid, all grounds are good. About the last thing I havent replaced is the solenoid to starter cable. when i try to start it, the solenoid just clicks and the battery cable to the solenoid gets hot. Could the starter cable be broken?

Try smackin the starter with a hammer a few times while trying to start it. The battery cable might not be broke but bad. They get so corroded internally that they actual lose voltage from the battery to the starter,. Do a google for a voltage drop test. If you have good power to the starter and solenoid pull the starter and have it bench tested.
