new stereo install...

has anyone run into any quirks, issues, problems with installing a new cd player. do you know the wire loom kit # and the dash install kit to use?

are all of the wires pretty easy to get to? do the colors correspond to the install wire loom?

any hints or techniques you used to make a better/ easier install.

Re: new stereo install...

The wiring harness just uses the basic colors so no tricks there. It is very easy to get to. You just remove the ashtray and take out 2-3 screws and the whole black trim comes out. Once you have that out, it is pretty easy. I couldn't give you any part numbers because I bought my Rodeo used and it came with everything.

the rodeo does not have a dash kit
the harness depends on the year and is proprietary to the harness manufacturer
