Ciera v6 shuts down when warm outside! Help!

Ok i have a 1995 cutlass ciera i have a problem which i can not figure out i had it diagnosed but no codes showed up. Usually when it is hotter outside i can drive until then engine warms up and then it dies shutting everything down on the car cept for the charge light and oil light. Then i can let it sit for a few mins and start it back up, driving another couple blocks until it shuts down again, repeating itself. It seems as if it is starving for something that it lack. I have thought about the cars computer but not real sure. Keep in mind i can drive it fine when cooler outside. Thanks for the help if u grant any. It sucks i just started driving and this happened and everyone i asked is stumpt

Thanks derick

Re: Ciera v6 shuts down when warm outside! Help!

I had the same problem with my 92 Cierra. I replaced the Engine Control Module. Extremely easy to replace. You can try to take it to an auto part to have them tested. After it was replaced, car started working perfectly. Also saving me on gas $$$.

The other thing you can check out if that does not work is the Engine Computer. That also can be the cause if the control module checks out ok.

Good Luck,
Jose
