1995 Explorer Starts and idles above 2k rpms and slowly drops

I just bought this explorer a few days ago and it is already beginning to bother me. It starts up just fine, but will idle above 2000rpms for about 3-5 seconds and then slowly come down to where it should be.

I am hopeing it is just a common issue and there is a sensor or somthing that can be replaced. Any help?
