hi compression pistons

how much power would i expect to pick up if i changed my pistons to high compression pistons? it is a 97 teg with a compression of 9.2:1 and i was thinking of putting ITR or CTR pistons in it which are around 11:1.

that is a way, way high rating. unless you want to run 94+ octane gas and tune it real good. a real generic way to find hp on added compression is 1% gain to every .1:1 added.

ITR runs good on on 91 octane, but go w/ premium gas.

ok? I don't see 91 in any chicago area?? The highest premium is 93 and i found one thats 94 in Rockford but thats about it. Oh wait Clarks got a 100 octane but thats racing fuel. Anyways you can run 11:5:1 on a premium gas pump.Thats what i'm gonna be doin.
