Re: best turbo back exhaust????gst

I have heard a lot of good things about the Tsudo, you can pick them up for about $300 shipped from e-bay.

I am thinking about picking one up, but as you can see from my mod list, I really don't want to upgrade the exhaust.

On both of the DSM's i own i haven't bought a single exhaust componet the naxous pipe on the eclipse sounds low and loud but i never heard of the company before i bought the car i found the sales recipt for 100 bucks but i don't think it did much for the car by the way of horse power
now on mu turbo laser there is a full 3in system on it i'm not exactly sure if it is all made by dynomax or if it is pieced together but at any rate it still sounds great not the typical loud high pitched whine that most people think of with imports

Re: best turbo back exhaust????gst

I went megan racing. GST's fit fine. If you have a gsx expect taking off your o2 housing, drilling out or o2 studs and replacing them with the bolts, nuts (no washers, won't fit) that came in the package to get it to fit on the car. Oh and it wont mate up to the stock catback, you'll need to have that custom done or just buy a $60 megan racing muffler and have a muffler shop make a 3in catback to fit your DP for $150.

GST: Go
GSX: No

I hate you kenny.

Re: best turbo back exhaust????gst

I have the RNR 3" turbo back with 02 eliminator. It sounds great. It has a low pitch but loud rumble to it, and when flooring it, it makes some what of a "ripping" noise. I get many complements . It was installed on my car before I bought it so I'm not sure how much it was or any modifications that went into it but, I would deffinatly recommend it.

The new Megan GSX/TSI AWD downpipe/exhaust setups are supposed to be good for clearance. I just ordered one, I'll let you know how it fits.
