distributor cap position
The car is a '94 3cyl. with an auto transmission and "all electronic ignition". I've just noticed that distributor cap is "upside down" from
the diagram shown in the Haynes manual. In other words, the wire from number 1 cyl. is at the top rather than the bottom or rotated 180 degrees. Could this account for the vibration at idle in D while stopped and in R ? While in N or P it seems ok. Acceleration is good. A transmission has been discussed in another thread. Any thoughts? Thanks |

I'd don't think the car would run if #1 cyl was not at the top.
