95 civic wont start

My neighbor was working on his car, replacing a coolant line that was by the distributor. They pulled the distributor off to get access to the factory clamp. When they reassembled everything the car wont start. I checked for spark and there is, checked the wires to see if they were in the right order. They said that when the distributor was off there are two prongs to only allow the dist. to go in two ways. I thought that maybe it got flipped 180 degrees and switched all wires 180 and nothing still. Any thoughts???

I've searched the previous forums and couldn't find anything similar to my neighbors problem. Any ideas would be great thanks. Oh has anyone had problems with new spark plug wires not getting good contact on the distributor. The old ones fit great but new ones are a lil loose. Also where is the ignition coil. Thanks

Distributor

Put the #1 piston at top-dead-center. The Crankshaft pulley pointer on the lower timing cover will be pointing at the "Single" white mark on the pulley. Not at the "3 marks that are together. Take the distributor out and the cap off, noting where the #1 wire is on the cap. Then take the distributor rotor and point it where the #1 wire on the distributor cap would be and reinstall distributor. Also replace the oring on the distributor. Oil leaking out deteriorates the hose below it.
