97 Air/Fuel Metering
Hello all, I am about to purchase a 97 Expedition with the 5.4 motor. The check engine light is on and when my buddy hooked it up, he didn't give me the code, but he said that it was (Low? air/fuel metering). Has anybody had this before?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...................

I had a similar code (P1152, air/fuel metering). It was a bad (obliterated) O2 sensor. I had already replaced the MAF based on the code but it did not fix the problem, didn't make any codes go away. The O2 sensor was only a year old.
