Rim with SolidWorks

hey mates,

I just got SolidWorks 2005...I just made and rendered a rim and somethin else with a (for me) new function...It was originally a cube...hope you'll like it!!

That rim doesn't really look solid.. spokes are way too thin.

I do like that cube though. Oh and both renders look nice/.

in a 3d model perspective it looks cool. but in real life i think its not good to have wheels with very thin spokes. what's that red thing?

I like the deep dish lip on that rim! Did you make that thing from scratch, or build upon an existing form?

I just did somethin, so I made that thing from a scratch. I know the pokes are way to thin. next time I'll make a more realistic rim that would work in real time. And then I'll put it on a car with photoshop.

The red thing is based on a cube, I dunno really why I did post that one overhere...it was just a study i did for myself...how to use some tools.

thats a nice rim im always having trouble making em im bak on my ferrari if ne of u can remember it im doing the interior now but ive got way less time bacause im no longer at skool im working now (and saving for an aurotop supra ).
