I don't know what the conversion rate is, but the Talon Tsi AWD is a great car. I have a 1997 Eagle Talon Tsi AWD and have had it since 98. As far as wet weather or snow, she has been great!! I zoom along while everyone else putt putts.
They all think that I am but hey . I haven't had any Major problems with my car at all. I keep the maintenance up and just replaced my Timing belt at 58k. I have only 76k on her now and bought her with 14k on her already. Just make sure to take the vehicle you select to a trusted mechanic to give it the once over to make sure everything is good to go before you buy.

Good luck and take care. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

John

I think that any DSM is a sweet car and that goes double for the AWD's. One problem with the 95 and ups is the possiblity of crankwalk. You get that and your engine is basically done. Its nothing to worry about if you take good care of it, dont race off of every stoplight, and dont mod it too much. If it were me, (I am a little biased, I like the 1g's better) I would buy a 1g AWD. The engines before 95 were a lot less susceptible to crankwalk, and I like the body style of the 90-91's.

Re: Need Info about Talon TSI AWD

As said in many post crankwalk is rare and over rated there are just alot of people on this site and everyone who has it talks about it. Also the 93 and 94 were 7 bolts. But that awd is bad ass when its raining. it doesn't snow here so ive never driven in the snow...

Yeah crank walk is rare, but its a reality and anyone planning on modding a 7 bolt should know about it.
